Role: Fire Engineer
Location: Sydney, NSW

Role Overview:
As an Intermediate Fire Engineer, you will report directly to the Director in charge. This autonomous role involves full interaction with clients, project managers, and internal/external design teams to deliver complete design documentation for commercial projects — from concept through to construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client briefing, budgeting, and reporting
- Develop sketch design and full design documentation
- Represent Aston Consulting throughout construction phases
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across a range of commercial projects
- Develop cost-effective and pragmatic fire safety engineering solutions
- Liaise and negotiate with relevant authorities on behalf of clients
- Deliver coordinated building services engineering documentation
- Conduct building inspections

Essential Criteria:
- Qualification in Fire Services Engineering
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Fire Services Engineering (commercial buildings)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- Working knowledge of electrical concepts, computers, and software
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (highly regarded but not essential)

As an Audio-Visual Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering Audio Visual and Unified Communications solutions from concept through to construction.
